Auchterhouse Hill Race

Our annual hill race, Auchterhouse Hill Race, will be held this Thursday, the 15th. The race starts just outside Auchterhouse and is a 3.25mile route, similar to the Whitetops Hill Race. Meet at 6.15pm for a 6.30pm start.

To find the start, head to Kirkton of Auchterhouse. You can park in the village and jog/walk to the start. Go up the brae heading north; ignore turn-offs for Piper's Way, Parkside, Old Whiskey Road and Braeside. A few meters after Braeside is the path you require. Walk along the path, through the gate and the start line is 100 meters ahead.

We will be meeting at the Union for anyone who needs a lift or doesn't know the way. Meet at the Union at 6pm.

See you all there

Glen Clova and Forfar

A reminder to all members that the Forfar 10K is our club 10K championship race. The first male and female DRRs home in this will win the 10K championship, which is awarded at our prizegiving at the end of the year. The race is this Sunday, August 18th. For anyone coming along, we will be having a picnic afterwards on the market muir. Please bring some food and join in.

The Glen Clova Half marathon is ourclub half marathon championship race. This race always sells out - in 48 hours last year! So if you want to enter, please be quick. Entries open at 7pm on August 19th on Entrycentral. We always organise dinner or drinks in Dundee after this race, so will be announcing this closer to the time.

Auchterhouse Hill Race Results

Well done to everyone who ran in the Auchterhouse Hill Race on Thursday. We had a lovely evening for it and a good turnout of 19 runners. It was brilliant to see some of you back at club who haven't been around for a while! Hamish Roper won the race, and Monica Padilla came 1st female.

Full results are up in the results section.
