Spring Handicap

The spring handicap is our first club race of the year. Starting from the gates of Camperdown park, the route runs roughly around the edge of the park in an anti-clockwise direction. It is about 4.5 miles. Most of the route is on park paths, so if there has been a lot of rain, the paths can be wet and muddy. You can view the route here.

We will work out your handicap, so the slower runners start first, getting a head start. This means everyone has a chance to win the race, and most runners should finish quite close together.

There are prizes for first male and female, and first debutante. Anyone is welcome to take part in our club races, but you must be a member to win a prize.

The race is a re-run in the opposite direction from the Autumn Handicap.
